Creating an account is free, and listing an item for sale costs you $0.20.
The item will stay for sale for 4 months or until it is sold.
When your item is sold, Etsy takes a 5% cut, as well as a payment processing fee of 4% + $0.25.
This is a pretty fair model where you don’t have to worry about payment, hosting your website, managing website traffic, etc.
In short, Etsy is a great platform to sell artwork and creative work.
